This Javascript calculator has been tested to work correctly in Netscape and IE on
PCs running Windows. It also works correctly on a PC running RedHat8 and Mozilla.
Does not work (yet!) on a Mac running either IE or Netscape. (Also, some script
runtime errors appear due to Yahoo's inserting advertisements. Click 'no' to not debug.)
Please report bugs or errors to orrin.winton@gmail.com
Also note that this program gives pretty good measurements for the length
of elements and their spacing, but does not give you the tools to design
a feedpoint balun. Hint: one kind of balun for matching is a simple
half-wave coaxial balun.
Enter frequency in MHz (first box), number of
elements (2nd box), height above ground IN METERS (3rd box),
and check appropriate box for polarization below, then hit 'calculate'.
For a new antenna, or to change values, be sure to hit CLEAR and start from
scratch.
